Call For Papers


Paper acceptance will be subject to a two-stage reviewing process, consisting of an initial abstract review and a later double-blind peer review of full-length manuscripts. Paper publication will be subject to review acceptance, to compliance with submission deadlines and formatting guidelines, and to payment of the conference registration fee. Please kindly note that multiple submissions are subject to multiple registrations.


Abstracts will be subject to an initial review – length ca 500 words plus key references.


Full papers will be subject to a double-blind peer review of full-length manuscripts. Length: 10 pages fitting the CAADRIA format (ca. ~3000-4000 words).

Young CAADRIA Awards are funded by CAADRIA, given by a committee jointly by CAADRIA, the Paper Selection Committee, and the Conference Host and will be decided by them after the acceptance of papers. Awards will be applied to conference registration fees and are not transferable (e.g. awardees cannot assign them to co-authors). If an awardee does not attend the conference, no award will be given. Open to full or part-time registered students (PhD-, PG-, or UG-students), chosen before the conference, winners exempt from paying registration fees. The student applies for the award if the paper is selected for inclusion into the conference. Chosen on the merit of full paper, contribution and relevance to CAADRIA and demonstrated depth of research interest

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS (in the form of Webinar)

The Pre-Conference Workshops (2-3-4 August) relating to the broader field of the conference RE: Anthropocene are sought.
Workshops on advance topics and the proposals should contain the following information in no more than 600 words:

1. Workshop title
2. Name of Chair(s) and email contact
3. Team members
4. Workshop objectives
5. Workshop platform, format, details, and schedule (can be 1 or 2 or 3 days)
